Nothing Phone 1 Will Debut With Nothing OS
Recently, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei after leaving the business to do the consumer technology brand “Nothing” brand, launched its first product Nothing Ear 1 headphones.
This headset with a transparent shell attracted a lot of attention at the time, but of course, Nothing is not stopping with the headset, the Nothing Phone is also on the way.
Recently, Carl Pei officially announced its second product, also its first smartphone named Nothing Phone 1. Carl Pei did not mention other Android friends, but directly against Apple, hoping to expand the ecology in the future, to compete with Apple.
According to the introduction, the Nothing Phone 1 is equipped with Nothing OS, which is officially claimed to be the best Android system, while providing 3 years of system updates as well as 4 years of security updates.
In addition, the machine will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, while the preview version of Nothing OS will be the first to debut in April this year.
The phone will feature a signature design and offer seamless connectivity with other devices in the Nothing product ecosystem. There will also be an official Nothing OS Launcher Android launcher, open to other Android phones, which will be released in April.
In the meantime, Twitter blogger Ben Geskin produced Nothing Phone 1 concept renderings based on current know information. The renderings show a center punch-hole screen solution with a fully transparent body design on the back and two cameras.
The specific parameters of the machine are not yet determined, only that the machine is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, model unknown, and officially to be released in summer 2022.
