Vivo X80 Series Packs Dimensity 9000 and V1 ISP
As a fashionable and imaging flagship – Vivo X Series always used new imaging technologies and design trends. With Vivo X70 Series, Vivo introduced the V1 ISP chip. Now Vivo is about to update this series again.
According to the reports, Vivo X80 Series will pack MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC, which performance is comparable to the latest snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Besides the Dimensity 9000, X80 Series will also pack a Vivo V1 ISP chip.
This imaging flagship not only has a strong performance chip, but Vivo also equipped it with its chip V1, becoming one of the first Dimensity 9000 flagships with the fiercest stack of materials.
This chip can serve the needs of imaging applications such as photography and video at the same time. When shooting video, the V1 chip has an exponential improvement in energy efficiency ratio compared to DSP and CPU in the face of a large number of complex operations.
Moreover, the V1 chip’s dedicated algorithms enable hardware circuitry to consume 50% less power when dealing with equivalent computational imaging algorithms compared to the software implementation.
In addition to carrying the self-developed chip V1, the Vivo X80 series is likely to be equipped with an imaging system jointly created by Vivo and Zeiss, whose imaging performance is worth waiting for.
In addition to the video experience, the frame insertion function of the independent display has been put in place, and MediaTek’s new game super-scoring technology has also been introduced. The high-frame game picture quality experience is said to be good.
Furthermore, today new Vivo X80 series model V2185A has passed the national quality certification and supports 80W fast charging.
