Release The K50 Universe
Probably because of the high expectations of Redmi fans, Redmi general manager Lu Weibing gave a brand new teaser this afternoon about when to release the K50 Universe. Lu Weibing stated:
“I’m afraid to tweet about the K50 universe because I’ll be “scolded” by some enthusiastic fans. The following is a unified response to the general concern:
- The launch has been in a state of intense preparation so that everyone can use it in March.
- 9000 and 8100 will be released on the same stage.
- Product planning was determined a year ago, it is very difficult to accurately predict the market trends and user needs a year later, but based on the current market feedback, K50 competitive or very strong should still be “weld gatekeeper” level!
So look forward to it and live up to the wait.”
The new Redmi K50 series will have three models, K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+, with roughly similar appearance and design, the main point of difference is focused on the internal hardware configuration.
The three phones are equipped with Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, and Dimensity 9000, which is the first time Redmi has bet on MediaTek for all the K series proper replacement works, I believe it will bring a surprise in terms of performance.
