OPPO 240W and OPPO 150W
At MWC Barcelona, OPPO released two of the latest fast charging technology, again breaking the record, respectively OPPO 240W and OPPO 150W along with Battery Health Engine.
Among them, 150W is a long-life version of super flash charging, which can charge the equivalent 4500mAh battery to 50% in 5 minutes and 100% in 15 minutes.

The reason why it is called the long-life version, as the name implies longer battery life, the official introduction from the adapter, wire to the phone are re-optimized design to adapt to high power, to meet the needs of 150W power.

At the same time, to achieve a longer battery life, OPPO also developed its battery health engine technology, starting from the underlying algorithm and battery chemistry system to protect battery health and charge and discharge safety, and intelligently improve battery life.
The battery can be charged and discharged 1,600 times to retain 80% of the remaining capacity, while mass production has been achieved, as soon as the second quarter of this year in the OnePlus cell phone commercial, the future to become OPPO and OnePlus in the high-end new machine standard equipment.

Also announced was the 150W SuperVOOC charger, which uses gallium nitride technology, with a charger size of 58x57x30mm and a weight of 172g.
In addition, OPPO also released a more groundbreaking OPPO 240W super flash charging, SUPERVOOC team based on 150W super flash charging, further tuning in the software level, the addition of self-developed charging protocol, to achieve 240W super flash charging.
According to the introduction, the technology can charge the equivalent 4500mAh battery to 100% in 9 minutes and is compatible with PD, PPS, and other mainstream charging protocols in the industry, making it the highest power fast charging technology in the industry.

In addition, OPPO Battery Health Engine was also introduced at the same time to improve the all-around charging experience. Officially, 150W SUPERVOOC flash charge features the Battery Health Engine, which is powered by OPPO’s customized battery management chip and includes two key technologies: Smart Battery Health Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology.

Smart Battery Health Algorithm can track real-time electric potential across the negative electrodes inside the battery. It dynamically adjusts the charging currency within a reasonable range, effectively minimizing the occurrence of dead lithium while maintaining the maximum charging current. This helps ensure prolonged battery lifespan and faster-charging speeds.

Battery Healing Technology optimizes battery life from the inner system of the battery. By improving the electrolyte formula, the electrodes are continuously repaired during the battery’s charge and discharge cycles, forming a more stable and durable solid electrolyte interface (SEI) that always stays in a perfect state in real-time. This helps in reducing the wear and tear of the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, therefore, enhancing battery performance and extending battery lifespan.
