MediaTek Dimensity 1300 Specifications
In today’s afternoon, MediaTek brought the Dimensity 8000 series, in addition to the Dimensity 1300 5G mobile platform. According to the name can be seen, Dimensity 1300 is an upgraded version of Dimensity 1200, still based on TSMC 6nm process, the overall performance has been upgraded compared to Dimensity 1200.
In terms of CPU, Dimensity 1300 consists of one 3.0GHz Cortex-A78 mega-core + three Cortex-A78 large-core + four Cortex-A55 energy-efficient cores, with 9 core Arm Mali-G77 GPU and MediaTek third-generation APU.
It also integrates an integrated MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 gaming engine that balances performance and power consumption, HDR-ISP that supports up to the 200-megapixel camera or 32MP+16MP dual camera, especially enhanced AI features, upgraded night shot, and HDR functions.
It supports video recording resolution up to 4K; memory support LPDDR4X-4266, maximum capacity 16GB, storage support UFS 3.1; video encoding support H.264, H.265/HEVC, video decoding support H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP-9, and AV1; display supports a maximum resolution of 2520×1080, refresh rate of 168Hz.
5G baseband supports carrier aggregation, 4×4 MIMO, 256QAM, peak downlink rate of 4.7Gbps, uplink up to 2.5Gbps, and 2×2 Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2.
In terms of timing, terminals with the Dimensity 1300 are expected to be available in the first to the second quarter of 2022, along with the Dimensity 8000 Series.
