Legion Y90 Gaming Phone Official Now
Tonight, Lenovo held a 2022 LEGION ecological spring launch event, released several hardware products, including the new Lenovo Legion Y90 Gaming Phone.
The Legion Y90 continues the design language of its predecessor, with a non-shaped screen form on the front, asymmetrical design on the back, and an eight-curved AG glass process, centered LEGION logo with both breathing lights while having two air inlets and two built-in fans.
The new six gaming key is equipped, through the four shoulder keys on the right side of the body, the screen on both sides of the front of the screen pressure-sensitive composition, support for an individual click, double click, and screen pressure-sensitive and other different modes of operation.
As for the display, the Legion Y90 gaming phone features a Samsung custom 6.92-inch AMOLED E4 screen that supports 144Hz high refresh rate and 720Hz multi-finger sampling rate, touch latency as low as 3.8ms, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, Delta E<0.6, global DC dimming, and TüV Rheinland anti-blue light eye protection certification.
In terms of core configuration, the new model is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, a 5600mAh battery, and support for 68W wired flash charging, which takes 35 minutes to fill the battery.
What is unique is that the Legion Y90 gaming phone uses a new RAM+ROM architecture, where the RAM architecture is LPDDR5 + virtual memory, with a maximum running memory capacity of 18GB physical memory + 4GB virtual memory.
The ROM architecture is UFS 3.1 + SSD RAID 0 disk array with a maximum capacity of 640GB. Compared to the conventional UFS 3.1, the sequential read and sequential write speed are greatly improved.
In terms of cooling, the machine is equipped with the Frostbite M cooling system with active and passive all-in-one cooling technology, consisting of graphene, liquid cooling VC homogeneous thermal plate, etc.
The total passive equivalent cooling area is up to 68,849²mm, and the active cooling structure consists of dual fins and dual fans, each group of fins has 32 cooling fans, improving the cooling system by 300% compared to the previous generation.
Other aspects of the machine are dual symmetrical speakers, Dolby Atmos, dual X-axis linear motors while adapting to numerous high frame rate games at 144fps/120 fps/90 fps, and the new ZUI 13.
Finally, the price of the Legion Y90 gaming phone for the first sale is RMB 3,999 for the 12+256GB version, RMB 4,299 for the 16+256GB version, and RMB 4,999 for the 16+640GB (512GB UFS+128GB SSD) version, with reservations opening tonight and sales officially starting on March 10 in China.
