RedMagic 7 Series Official Now
Following yesterday’s Redmi K50 Gaming Edition launch, today RedMagic held a new product launch to release new gaming phones of the RedMagic 7 Series.
The series contains a total of two new gaming phones, respectively, RedMagic 7 and RedMagic 7 Pro, shape and configuration are not the same, similar positioning, are the main gaming experience, while heat dissipation has a unique highlight added.
In terms of shape, the RedMagic 7 continues the design style of the previous generation, the front non-shaped screen, retaining the front camera to the upper bezel, the back for the vertical bar camera layout, the back cover new cooling openings, to provide the Dark Knight / Cyber Neon / Deuterium Blade transparent three colorways.
RedMagic 7 Pro is a major change, the front is UDC under-screen camera full-screen, the first tripod pixel arrangement, multi-drive ACE circuit, wave-type electrodes so that the front camera is located below the screen, the screen-to-body ratio is then higher, the back is a new rectangular camera layout, shaped like the four cylinders of mahjong.
The Important thing is the new deuterium front metal heatsink, which runs almost through the entire back cover, is made of aerospace aluminum metal for fast heat conduction, and is available in three colorways: Deuterium Front Transparent / Dark Knight / Cyber Neon.
The screen, the front of the RedMagic 7 is a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, resolution 2400 × 1080p, up to support 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, crystal diamond arrangement, support DCI-P3 100% wide color gamut.

Core configuration, the whole series equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 mobile platform, with a full-blooded version of LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 flash memory, support Arc performance enhancement system, support virtual memory, additional 6GB, up to 24GB.
In terms of cooling, RedMagic 7 built-in up to 20,000 rpm / centrifugal fan, aerospace-grade phase change cooling materials, and ultra-soft high thermal conductivity rare earth, composed of ICE Magic cooling system.
The RedMagic 7 Pro goes a step further with a built-in 41,279mm² cooling material, which includes 4124mm² of extra-large VC, nearly tripling the area compared to the RedMagic 6, and with a new generation of active cooling fans, smaller in size and 33.3% higher airflow.
The RedMagic 7 Pro is equipped with the Red Core 1, a homegrown gaming chip developed by RedMagic, with the RedMagic’s algorithm to achieve a four-in-one control of fingertip touch, vibration feedback, dazzling lights, and surging sound.
For the gaming, the side of the shoulder keys to retaining, with dual independent IC touch shoulder keys (500Hz touch sampling), RedMagic space new upgrades, while supporting several mainstream games with high frame rates.
In addition, the two new models are equipped with 165W GaN chargers as standard across the board, including RedMagic 7 with maximum support of 120W and a battery capacity of 4500mAh battery, which is claimed to be full in 17 minutes, and RedMagic 7 Pro with support of 135W and a battery capacity of 5000mAh with dual 6C cells, which is full in 15 minutes at the fastest.
In terms of camera, the rear is 64MP main camera + 2MP macro + 8MP wide-angle, RedMagic 7 front is 8MP selfie lens, RedMagic 7 Pro is 16MP selfie lens under the screen.
Other aspects, the two new models run Android 12-based RedMagic OS V5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, back cover logo light dazzling RGB lighting effects, dual speakers, and X-axis linear motors, while the RedMagic 7 Pro has dual X-axis linear motors.
Finally, the price, RedMagic 7 8GB + 128GB version priced at 3999 yuan, the first tasting price of 3899 yuan, 12GB + 128GB version 4399 yuan, 12GB + 256GB version 4799 yuan; deuterium front transparent version 12GB + 256GB version 4899 yuan, 16GB + 512GB version 5499 yuan, on sale on February 21.
