OnePlus 10R Headed with Dimensity 9000 SoC
OnePlus 10 Pro phone has been officially launched this month in China and is headed to debut globally shortly with an exclusive custom Sony IMX789 sensor. After the 10 Pro, OnePlus is expected to launch another new machine in the 10 series, which will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.
This new protagonist is expected to be the successor model of the OnePlus 9R, the OnePlus 10R. Androidcentral claims that the OnePlus 10R will pack MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 4nm SoC. The OnePlus brand has rarely launched smartphones with MediaTek chips before, but the OnePlus 10R is expected to feature this latest flagship SoC.
The source says that the OnePlus 10R will go on sale in India and China with a 120Hz AMOLED display and storage starting at 8GB + 128GB. This model will not be launched in North America because the Dimensity 9000 chip does not support millimeter-wave 5G, a technology more recognized by consumers in the United States.
The OnePlus 10R is expected to be released by June 2022, due to delays in shipping the Dimensity series chips on the one hand, and to make the inventory of the previous generation models fully digestible on the other.
