Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Renderings

Yesterday Samsung announced Exynos 2200 flagship processor using a 4nm process and AMD RDNA 2 Xclipse GPU. Now, MySmartPrice has obtained the Exynos 2200 benchmark scores from the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

In Geekbench 5, the device scores 1108 single-core and 3516 multi-core, which is almost identical to the Exynos 2100. In AnTuTu 9.0, the device scores a 965,874, a 46% improvement over last year’s Exynos 2100.

In the GFXBench Aztec Ruins (Normal) test, the Exynos 2200 scored 109fps. Compared with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 benchmark results, then the Exynos 2200 scores are slightly below. The Exynos 2100 in the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra also scored about 71fps in this test, which is about a 38 fps improvement, so it seems that the AMD boost is still relatively strong, at least catching up with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

Like Snapdragon 8 Gen1, Exynos 2200 also uses Samsung’s 4nm process, and the Exynos 2200 is also a “1+3+4” triple-cluster architecture design, with a large core of Cortex X2, a large core of Cortex A710, and a small core of Cortex A510. Unfortunately, Samsung has not announced the CPU frequency of the Exynos 2200 (Test frequencies are 2.80Ghz + 2.52Ghz + 1.82Ghz).

In meantime, MySmartPrice also revealed Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renderings showing four colorways. This time Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra ushered in a notable redesign. It features regular box-shaped Note Series style design offering housing for S-Pen which claimed to have the lowest latency of 2.8ms.

The backside of Galaxy S22 Ultra quad-camera setup of 108 megapixel’s Super Clear Lens main camera + 12 megapixel’s ultra-wide camera + two 10 megapixel’s camera respectively for 3x and 10x optical zoom. It will also offer 12-bit HDR recording and auto-frame rate support.

In terms of display, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will pack a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with 1440 × 3088p resolution’s 120Hz refresh rate, while also supporting a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate with LTPO technology and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The front is with 40 megapixel’s punch-hole front-facing camera.

MySmartPrice report that the S22 Ultra weight is about 228 grams and the device’s three circumstances is 163.3 × 77.9 × 8.9mm. 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, 5000mAh battery, IP68 rating, and Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 will not be absent.
