According to a report from AnTuTu, Pete Lau, the founder of OnePlus, announced that Li Jie, formerly the head of user operations of OPPO China, will serve as the president of OnePlus China and be fully responsible for the business of China. During his tenure at OPPO, Li Jie had created the Find 7 model and the R series, which sold more than 20 million units of a single model, and other top-selling products.
Li Jie said when accepting the media, after the integration with OPPO, OnePlus is still an independent brand, will not sacrifice the original brand foundation and tone, share OPPO’s supply chain, technology, channels, after-sales service, and many other resources, the two brands will be synergistic development.
However, OnePlus will not do low-end, bad performance, resulting in poor user experience to pursue sales and another data scale, and will not do products below 2,000 yuan.
