Motorola Frontier Specifications Leaked
Earlier, Qualcomm officials confirmed of preparation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, which is expected to be based on the TSMC 4nm process as Qualcomm is dissatisfied with Samsung’s 4nm process yield.
Now TechnikNews reported Motorola is working on Qualcomm’s new flagship SoC codenamed SM8475 with Motorola Frontier (codenamed) flagship. Not just SM8475, Motorola Frontier has another big highlight, that 200MP Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor.
Motorola’s new flagship Frontier will debut Samsung’s S5KHP1 sensor, which has up to 200 megapixels. In addition, there will be a 50 megapixel JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12 megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera, and a 60-megapixel front camera, which is OV60A already used in Moto Edge X30.
In addition, the source also revealed that Frontier will have 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It will have 6.67-inches curved OLED FHD+ display supporting 144Hz, and offers 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB memory options.
Currently, Motorola Edge X30 is on sale in China and is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, priced at 2999 yuan and equipped with a 1080P screen. The new “Frontier” phone, whose name is unknown, is expected to come soon.
