OmniVision OVB0B 200 Megapixel’s Sensor
Smartphone high pixel camera era has come, 108 megapixel’s sensors in Xiaomi, Redmi, Samsung, Honor and other companies have been applied to several cell phones. Samsung last September debuted 200-megapixel sensor ISOCELL HP1, now the domestic OmniVision also launched a 200 megapixels sensor OVB0B.
OmniVision OVB0B is the world’s smallest 0.61μm pixel size 200-megapixel resolution image sensor for the high-end smartphone market, with a 1/1.28 inch outsole and 200-megapixel resolution (16384 x 12288 pixels), and unique 16-cell merge technology in 12.5-megapixel mode for premium video and preview quality, especially in low-light conditions.
The OVB0B is also the first 200-megapixel image sensor with the entire area available for phase detection autofocus using QPD (Quad Phase Detection) technology. For video, the OVB0B features the industry’s first 16-cell binning for 4K2K video with 16 times the sensitivity of similar products. In low-light conditions, 12.5-megapixel performance and 2.44µm equivalent pixel size can be achieved using 4×4 pixel merging.

The OVB0B also supports 50 megapixels at 24fps and 8K video at 30fps with 1.22µm equivalent performance, and the OVB0B also supports 3x exposure HDR with 12.5-megapixel photos at 30 frames per second output. The OVB0B is described as supporting CPHY, DPHY, and dual DOVDD (1.8V and 1.2V), and samples of the OVB0B are now available.
