Xiaomi 12 Cyber Focus Technology
After Lei Jun finished the Xiaomi 12 series camera highlights, Xiaomi released another warm-up material unveiling Cyber Focus for Xiaomi 12 Series.

CyberFocus, a technology that can identify multiple subjects and manipulate the camera to focus, as well as learn the characteristics of the subject and track the focus. So the Xiaomi 12 phone can achieve a better capture effect and improve the success rate of shooting.
Officially, the CyberFocus technology is derived from the tracking technology of the Xiaomi CyberDog, which belongs to the category of computational photography technology.
Xiaomi released CyberDog quadruped robot on August 10, 2021. This product is equipped with a high-precision environmental perception system, with a total of 11 high-precision sensors throughout the body.
The front of the robot has several cameras of different sizes, including a binocular wide-angle camera, depth camera, AI interactive camera, etc., using some of Intel’s technology to track and identify the human body. The robot can automatically follow the owner to achieve the effect of “walking the dog”.
Xiaomi 12 series phones will be equipped with a new image architecture, with a breakthrough in the camera: faster, more stable. The phone camera will be faster in terms of start-up speed and focus speed.
The Xiaomi 12 standard version will have a Sony IMX766 sensor with 50 megapixels and 1/1.56 inches for the main camera; the Xiaomi 12 Pro main camera will debut with Sony’s custom IMX707 sensor, also with 50 megapixels and 1/1.28 inches in size.
Xiaomi also announced the Xiaomi 12 front camera parameters and the new beauty technology. The new camera is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with a native beauty portrait function that brings pixel-level skin retouching technology based on the Generative Adversarial Network technology, GAN, to reconstruct the original skin details and achieve a skin “regrowth” effect. The technology allows users to take selfies with real, natural, and good skin quality.
