Huawei Executives Confirmed Mate 50 Series
Due to component limitations, the Huawei P50 series was released sometime late, until the end of July this year, and only supports 4G networks. The delay of the P50 series means that the next-generation flagship will also be delayed. According to Huawei’s product line, the P50 series is followed by the Mate 50 series, but when it will be released has never been decided.
During an exchange with the media in Romania a few days ago, Derek Yu, president of Huawei’s consumer business in Central and Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and Canada, revealed that the new Mate models are ready and are expected to be launched in 2022, and the new foldable display phone will be the first to be released.
Of which the new Mate should refer to the Mate 50 series, according to the current situation, is expected to carry a new generation of Snapdragon 8 chip, but may only support 4G network.
And the new foldable display phone may be the more recent rumors Mate V, that is, Huawei’s first flip folding-screen phone, the burst of information said to be equipped with Kirin 9000 chip, while not ruling out the possibility of the second supply, that is, the first Kirin 9000, the subsequent replacement of other processors.
The rendering shows that the back of the Huawei Mate V is a round camera layout, the bottom seems to be around the screen that can display the time, but the rendering PS traces are more obvious, for reference only.
