Redmi K50 Series will Have Big Upgrades in terms of display, charging…
With the Snapdragon Technology Summit coming up at the end of the month, executives from major cell phone manufacturers have been pressing on to start previewing new products online.
Recently, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, posted on his microblog saying, “In 2022, which Redmi product are you most looking forward to? Tell us the model number and the reason why you are looking forward to it.”
As you can imagine, the model with the highest call in the comments section is the Redmi K50. One of the key factors is that Xiaomi’s starting price of 20,000 INR is now basically the starting price of the Redmi K series every year, and this year’s K40 series is no exception. The K50 new product can’t be described as a weld gatekeeper because it’s too strong, said Lu Weibing when interacting with netizens.
According to another report, Redmi K50 is currently looking at the prototype’s screen and fast charging technology, as well as some peripheral specifications, which are not small upgrades compared to the previous generation. If it is still set in the 2k (RMB) price range, then it is destined to be a sub-flagship core with a score of 7-8L points on the AnTuTu Benchmark.
As we all know, the previous generation of the Redmi K40 series came with Samsung E4 AMOLED straight screen as standard, which received DisplayMate A+ certification, and was upgraded in terms of brightness, color accuracy, and power consumption, reaching 11 screen records in one go. With Redmi K50 Series, the top version may upgrade to Samsung’s E5 Material.
It is said that there will be multiple versions of the machine, Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 9000/7000, and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 are equipped, the product line is more finely divided, but also to meet the needs of more users, in addition, the K50 Gaming Edition will not be absent, the new machine will debut in the first quarter of next year.
