OPPO and BYD Electronic Jointly Developed Starry Rain Lithography Process
This week, the new OPPO Reno7 series was officially released, with the star rain wish, morning gold/twilight snow gold, starry night black three colorways. Among them, the “Starry Rain Wish” back cover adopts the industry’s first aerospace-grade starry rain lithography process, with 1.2 million meteor shower textures, complemented by a starry sky-like color scheme.
Followed by, BYD Electronics said that the starry rain lithography process was jointly developed by OPPO and BYD Electronics, using LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) technology to create the first LDI process into the back cover of a cell phone, creating a textured pattern with 8-micron lithography precision. With the flow of light to show the warm and cool colors and gradient tones, holding in the hands can also feel the three-dimensional touch of the star trajectory undulation.
As the main supplier of Reno7 series cell phone back covers and the exclusive supplier of Starry Rain Lithography, BYD Electronics also pointed out that the assembly of hidden heat bending fiber, the parameter testing of breathing light, the auxiliary processing and assembly adjustment of ceramic camera decorative piece, Reno7 series back cover assembly auxiliary material quantity and assembly process are multiply increased compared with the previous, the assembly difficulty is the most difficult generation of Reno series.
The star rain lithography process is also the first BYD Electronics to achieve an ultra-fine lenticular texture effect on the surface of the glass back panel. Since the cooperation, BYD Electronics and OPPO jointly created Reno, Realme, and other series of smartphones with more than twenty models.
