MIUI Global Monthly Active Users officially exceeded the 500 million mark
Today, Xiaomi announced that On November 22, 2021, MIUI global monthly active users officially exceeded 500 million. For MIUI, 500 million monthly activities represent at least 500 million users using Xiaomi devices, with 18.65 million new monthly active users in China and 100 million new monthly active users worldwide in 2021, and it took MIUI 11 years to accomplish this number.

In 2010, MIUI only had 100 users, which was called “dream sponsor” by Xiaomi, but 5 years later it broke 100 million, 8 years later it broke 200 million… Now it has reached 500 million monthly active users. This is a milestone in Xiaomi’s “cell phone x AIoT” strategy and a historic moment for Xiaomi and global Mi fans over the past eleven years.
The latest version of MIUI is MIUI 12.5 enhanced version, which has been tested by many Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Compared with the previous MIUI 12.5, there are a lot of improvements and a lot of problems fixed, which is no less than a big version upgrade.
Specifically, MIUI 12.5 enhanced version makes the core scenario memory consumption drop by 20% and optimizes the system app by app, the background memory consumption drops by 35% on average, and the system app power consumption drops by 25% on average.
As for the big version update MIUI 13, it is said to be unveiled next month along with the new machine Xiaomi 12, Lei Jun also previously said it would be released at the end of the year, hoping to live up to everyone.
