MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Specifications And Features
At the launch event held this morning, MediaTek’s new flagship SoC Dimensity 9000 was officially released, which is the first 5G SoC on earth built with TSMC’s 4nm process, with lower power consumption and stronger performance.

In terms of specifications, the CPU part of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 still adopts the triple-cluster architecture, including a 3.05GHz Cortex-X2 mega-core, three 2.85GHz Cortex-A710 large cores, and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A510 small cores.

In terms of cache, the X2 core has 2MB of L2 cache, the large core has 512KB of L2 cache, and the small core has 256KB of L2 cache, while also providing 8MB of tertiary cache and 6MB of system cache. Thanks to this, officially, its CPU performance has increased by 35% and its power consumption ratio has increased by 37%. The GPU part is Mali-G710 MC10, which supports ray tracing and improves performance by 35% and power consumption ratio by 60%.

In terms of storage, the Dimensity 9000 adds support for LPDDR5x 7500Mbps memory, which is 36% better than the existing LPDDR5 5500Mbps in terms of performance and 20% better in terms of power consumption.

As for APU, the APU of Dimensity 9000 adopts a 6-core design, containing four performance cores as well as two energy-efficient cores, which improves performance and power consumption by 400%.

ISP part, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 built-in Imagiq Gen 7 IPS chip, up to the 320-megapixel main camera or 32-megapixel triple camera, and can record three 4K HDR video, 8K video codec is also in the support list, and support 8K AV1 format.
As for the screen, the Dimensity 9000 supports up to WQHD+ (2K) 144Hz screen or FHD+ (1080p) 180Hz screen, and also supports HDR10+. The baseband has also been upgraded to support 3GPP R16, with peak downlink rates of up to 7Gbps, and supports MediaTek’s 5G UltraSave 2.0 energy-saving technology.

Wireless network this time also added support for Wi-Fi 6E, bandwidth up to 160MHz, and is the world’s first chip to support Bluetooth 5.3. Dual-screen GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, and other satellite navigation technologies are also on the support list.

Thanks to this, the AnTuTu Benchmark score of MediaTek Dimensity 9000 has exceeded 1 million, which is the first SoC to break the million mark in the Android phone field. The test machine with this score is running Android 12, with 12GB of built-in memory and 256GB of onboard storage, and is configured to the level of a flagship.
In terms of results, the total score of 1007396 points is currently counted by AnTuTu, which is the first SoC to break the 1 million point mark in the Android phone field.
This performance is now significantly ahead of the best performance on the Android platform Snapdragon 888 Plus, the latter’s current average score can reach about 850,000 points, compared to the Dimensity 9000 can lead to 17.6%, can be said to be the most stunning performance of MediaTek’s flagship SoC in history.
After the release of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Redmi, which has always worked closely with MediaTek, began to make moves, Lu Weibing said on Weibo, Dimensity 9000 is here, what are the expectations for Redmi? According to Lu Weibing’s response, it can be verified that its new machine will carry the Dimensity 9000, which is expected to be a K50 series model according to previous revelations.
