Realme Under-screen Camera Patent
ZTE, Xiaomi, Samsung are a few manufacturers who have launched under the screen camera phone. Now Realme’s under-screen camera is likely to be in work as a new patent unveils the design of the same.
Recently, Themobilehunt discovered that Realme applied for a smartphone appearance patent, the machine is equipped with three rear cameras, but the front lens disappeared, and there is no trace of the top pop-up camera, which is expected to be the new under-screen camera phone.
The patent is for a phone with a dual-curved screen and a slightly protruding rear camera, without any openings above, and a SIM card slot and power supply Type-C port at the bottom, which means there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme China president Xu Qi had previously released a photo of a phone without a visible front lens and said that the machine does not have a lift-up camera, suggesting that it is studying a new under-screen camera machine. In addition, Xu Qi revealed at the 2021 China Mobile Global Partner Conference that Realme will enter the high-end market, with product prices up to the 5,000 yuan price range.
