Redmi Note11 Series with 120W Fast Charging
Redmi will release its Note 11 series on October 28, the series has been the main focus of the extreme cost performance and high-end products mass concept, so by many users concern.
Recently the official preview of the shape and screen quality, where the shape is a new design language, the use of right-angle bezel, the overall more rigid, the screen is Samsung AMOLED screen, diamond arrangement, support 120Hz high brush and 360Hz touch sampling rate. This screen also supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 360° light sensing and sunlight screen display, the parameters can be compared with the current flagship phones.
In addition to the screen, the core configuration equipped with which processor has become the focus of attention. According to digital bloggers, Note 11 series is quite ruthless, so the core processor did not use the flagship core, not Snapdragon 778G, but the first old friends released but not commercially available processor.
According to the new report, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are both powered by the MediaTek 920, an chip that uses 2 × 2.5GHz A78 + 6 × 2.0GHz A55, Mali-G68 MC4, 100MP camera support.
In August this year, MediaTek released the Dimensity 920 with TSMC’s energy-efficient 6nm process, featuring strong performance and low power consumption, a 9% improvement in gaming performance compared to the Dimensity 900, support for smart display technology, hardware-level 4K HDR video capture, and supports MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 gaming engine.
120W Fast Charging and Cooling System
In today’s morning Redmi official cell phone microblogging account continues to warm up for the new Redmi Note11 series, today the official finally announced the fast charging power of this phone, confirmed that it is the rumored 120W. 120W is the current fast-charging power of Xiaomi’s flagship models, and it is also the ceiling of charging power for Android phones.
Shortly after the official announcement, Redmi brand general manager said, “We don’t just want to do 120W, we want to do a higher 120W”. Official pointed out that the Redmi Note 11 series will use a dual-cell + dual-charge pump solution, with the dual-cell series connection, the individual cell voltage is lowered for safer charging, while the dual-charge pump is connected in parallel for lower resistance and less heat generation.
According to reports, last August, Xiaomi world premiere 120W wired charging, due to heat dissipation, wire, chip and other restrictions, 120W fast charging can only be used in high-end flagship products.
In case of Redmi Note11 Series, new model also equipped with additional cooling system for 120W stable fast charging. Redmi Note 11 Series improves the charging experience with better heat dissipation throughout the machine using:
- 120W charging chip with 100% VC liquid cooling coverage
- Graphite covers the front and back of the motherboard, allowing heat to be quickly and evenly cooled
- Mid-frame VC+graphite for more even surface temperature
As the current industry ceiling, 120W fast charging can achieve 100% charging in as little as 15 minutes, which is in line with the Redmi Note 11 series slogan of “Quick battle, full blood at a moment’s notice”. According to the several reports, only Redmi Note11 Pro+ will pack 120W fast charging and 4500mAh battery capacity.
Redmi also said that there are only 14 phones in the world that support 120W fast charging, and the average price is above 4,000 yuan, which is a technology that only high-end flagships support. Now Redmi supports 120W fast charging on Note series models, and it is a dual-cell + dual-charge pump solution, which not only charges faster, but also generates less heat and is safer.
