HTC Vive Flow VR Headset
HTC Vive Flow VR headset is scheduled to be released on 14th October at 8:00 AM PDT/3:00 PM GMT. Before the official launch, Evan Blass fully exposed the HTC Vive Flow VR headset through promotional materials.
The photos also show that the headset will be connected by wires to some sort of tube-like device, which may be its computing unit. Another set of images shows that the headset also has an internal processing module, and a cooling fan that supports an active cooling system.
It’s worth noting that in these images of the HTC Vive Flow VR, there doesn’t appear to be a headband. HTC may have found a way to make the Vive Flow comfortable to wear without a headband. The image also gives the price and availability of the HTC Vive Flow VR headset, which will cost 499 USD and will be available for pre-order on October 15 and start shipping in early November.
