4nm MediaTek Flagship Chip Core Specifications
Mid-year MediaTek earnings meeting, the chip supplier giant announced that the first 5G flagship chip will be launched at the end of this year, and built using TSMC’s 4nm process.
Recently, the latest revelations gave the parameters of MediaTek flagship chip, where the CPU part consists of one 3.0GHz Cortex-X2 mega-core + three A710 big cores + four A510 cores, and the GPU part integrates Mali-G710 MC10. On paper parameters, MediaTek this chip completely reached the flagship level, the use of advanced process technology and ARM’s latest flagship core.
Compared to the Snapdragon 898, which also uses the X2 mega-core, the main difference between the two is the GPU performance, where the Snapdragon 898 is integrated with Adreno 730, and the performance of the public version of the G710 is unknown for the time being.
For this flagship chip, MediaTek is also very confident, claiming to integrate advanced AI, multimedia IP, and exclusive Dimensity 5G open architecture to provide differentiation, which is believed to be better than all products currently on the market. Manufacturers, it is said that OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Honor will be equipped with MediaTek this flagship chip, Huawei is not sure for the time being.
