OnePlus Buds Z2 Specifications
This month, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 9R upgrade OnePlus 9RT, at the same time, will also launch a new generation of true wireless headphones – OnePlus Buds Z2, this time finally joined the active noise cancellation function.
From the newly revealed pictures, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will be very similar to the Buds Z in terms of design, with the same in-ear design, although the tail seems to be shorter. According to the leak, the new Buds Z2 continues to offer three microphones, Dolby Atmos sound, support for active noise cancellation (ANC), and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, while the Buds Z2’s predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Z, does not offer noise cancellation.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 with an in-ear design similar to its predecessor comes with silicone earbuds, comes in black and white colorways, and has a charging case that measures 73.15 x 36.80 x 29.07mm. The headphones are said to feature 11mm dynamic units, support for water and sweat resistance, IP55 certification, and a charging case with IPX4.
OnePlus Buds Z2 will also support Bluetooth 5.2, but there is no advanced audio streaming codec, only basic AAC and SBC support, active noise cancellation depth of 40db, microphone sensitivity of – 38dB (+-2dB). The earbud’s weight is said to be 4.6g (white) and 4.5g (Black) and the charging case weight is 42g for white and 40.5g for black.
In terms of battery life and charging, the headphones may be powered by a 40mAh battery, while the charging case is powered by a 520 mAh battery that takes 90 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, for a total battery life of 27 hours (with noise cancellation) and 38 hours without noise cancellation. The headphones get 5 hours of continuous playtime with ANC on and 7 hours with ANC off, 5 hours on the previous Buds Z.
