Microsoft Surface Pro 8 Price and Specifications
At September 22 Microsoft conference, in addition to Surface Go 3 and Surface Duo 2, Microsoft Surface Pro 8 also debuted. Surface Pro 8 is the new generation of 2-in-1 thin and light. It has been almost two years since the last generation, but the wait was worth it. The operating system, naturally, is pre-installed Windows 11.

Surface Pro 8 uses a new mold, PixelSense screen size from 12.3 inches enlarged to 13 inches, still rounded corners, but narrower bezels, especially on the left and right sides, so the screen-to-body ratio is higher and is by far the lightest and thinnest Surface Pro series, with a thickness of only 9.4 mm and a weight of just 891 grams.
The screen resolution is 2880 × 1920, with a pixel density of 267 PPI, and now supports Dolby Vision, 120Hz high refresh rate, multi-touch, 12.5% more brightness, and Dolby Atmos sound. A 1080p 5-megapixel’s front camera is integrated into the center of the top bezel, supporting Windows Hello IR recognition and face login and a 10-megapixel’s 4K camera on the rear.
The processor is Intel Tiger Lake-U 11th generation Core low-power version with up to 4 cores and 8 threads. i5-1135G7 and i7-1185G7 are available for the consumer version and i3-1154G4, i5-1145G7 and i7-1185G7 are available for the business version, with i3 integrated core UHD and i5 and i7 integrated core Iris Xe.
With Intel Evo’s stringent certification, it claims to improve CPU performance by up to 40% and GPU performance by up to 75% compared to the previous generation. Surface Pro 8 brings two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports to replace the traditional USB-A ports. The battery life is up to 16 hours, the charger is 60W, and continues to charge using the Surface Connect port.



Memory options of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB LPDDR4X, the maximum capacity compared to the previous generation doubled. Hard disk Wi-Fi version available 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, LTE version available 128GB, 256GB, in addition to support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1.
The standalone Surface Pro Signature Keyboard (sold separately at 179.99 USD or with Pen 279.99 USD) now also includes a new Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus, similar to the keyboard and stylus combination found on the Surface Pro X. The stylus charges in the keyboard base and includes a built-in tactile motor that attempts to replicate the feel of writing on paper.



The stylus is also a highlight, this time upgraded to the new Surface Slim Pen 2 (sold separately at 129.99 USD), magnetic placement and charging, can be stored in the new Surface Type Cover protective cover, built-in Microsoft G6 processor, haptic motor, there is a slight vibration, a comprehensive improvement in pen touch, accuracy, delay, closer to the feeling of writing on paper.
