Samsung Exynos 2200 Cores and GPU

Samsung’s new flagship next year will be equipped with a model Exynos 2200 flagship chip, which will be equipped with AMD RDNA architecture GPU, the overall performance will be improved notably.

According to the latest news from the Weibo blogger Digital Chat Station, the first runtime information of suspected Samsung Galaxy S22+ ( Samsung SM-S906B) has been released on the Geekbench website, which shows that the machine will be equipped with an Exynos 2200 chip, with a single-core score of 1073 and a multi-core score of 3389, the overall level with the current Snapdragon 888+, but currently only in early engineering mode.

In terms of Exynos 2200 specifications that revealed through Geekbench indicates that Exynos 2200 will be equipped with a new generation of tri-cluster architecture, which is equipped with a 2.59Ghz Cortex-X2 mega-core, three 2.5GHz Cortex-A78 mega-core, and four 1.73GHz Cortex-A55 small-core, but the production version of the mega-core is likely to increase the frequency again.

It is worth noting that the score information also shows that the GPU identification driver is AMD, which is the most exciting part and will greatly improve the graphics performance of the mobile product.

From the information known so far, the Exynos 2200 is an extremely powerful SoC, and the new energy is very strong, which may lead the Samsung camp directly head-to-head with Qualcomm, Apple, against the Snapdragon 898, Apple A15, and other new-generation chips.

Not surprisingly, the Exynos 2200 will be the first to be equipped with the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, but due to capacity and other restrictions, it will not be standard worldwide with this chip, domestic users may not have a chance to experience it.
