Microsoft Surface Book Studio Renderings (Concept)
Microsoft is expected to be inspired by Apple’s Magic Keyboard + iPad design combo in their next Surface Book, as hinted by a new patent. Microsoft a deformation of the laptop patent was published on July 22, 2021, discovered by WindowsUnited. In this patent, the computer screen is carried by a complex mechanical hinge, fixed on a stand, which allows the computer to be used in a traditional laptop way, but also deformed into a tablet computer.

As you can see from the drawing, the patent enables the laptop screen to hover above the computer, closer to the user, with an effect very similar to Apple’s new Magic Keyboard + iPad combination. This design is more convenient for touch operation while improving aesthetics.
The Surface Book Studio can transform from a traditional notebook into a tablet, with cutouts behind the screen to cover the hinge component and achieve a flatter appearance.
The device will reportedly feature a more powerful processor and graphics card, an upgraded screen, and possibly a larger trackpad and a new Surface Pen with improved haptic feedback. The Surface Book Studio and will run Windows 11. If this is true, the new machine should hit shelves sometime this fall.
