The upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 will have flat edges, a narrower bezel that brings a larger display, and a more prominent speaker, according to CAD renders allegedly obtained from 91Mobiles. Apple Watch Series 7 renders show an upgraded Apple Watch design that takes inspiration from the right angles of the iPhone 12.

From the renders, we can see that the back of the Apple Watch will consist of the same health sensor configuration as the current Apple Watch Series 6. The renders show no significant changes to the design of the digital crown or side buttons; however, they show the configuration of two speakers that extend across the entire side of the Apple Watch compared to the current adjacent speaker design.

Based on the dimensions shared, the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in the same 40mm and 44mm case sizes as expected. But a new report claims that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 size will have a larger with 41mm and 45mm dial size, replacing the 40mm and 44mm options currently available since the Apple Watch Series 4. With Apple’s under-test new screen lamination process for the Apple Watch Series, 7 will bring the display closer to the cover glass.

Apple Watch Series 7 will pack a 1.8-inch display for the bigger version, compared to the 1.73-inch display on the current Apple Watch Series 6. The Apple Watch Series 7 will also be 1.7mm thinner compared to the Apple Watch Series 6, according to the report.

The Apple Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 13 series at Apple’s online launch event in September. Other new products we’re looking forward to in the coming months include a new iPad, updated AirPods, a high-end iPad Mini 6, and a redesigned MacBook Pro.
