iQOO 8 and 8 Pro Specifications Comparison
iQOO will hold a product launch conference next tomorrow (August 17), when its new iQOO 8 series will debut. This time before the launch, the official has been frequently previewed the series, releasing numerous configurations and highlights, and today iQOO 8 and 8 Pro specifications leaked through PPT.
According to leaked PPT, iQOO 8 rear camera set-up includes 48 megapixel’s main camera with micro-cloud platform + 13 megapixel’s (wide-angle) + 13 megapixels portrait lens, and front 16 megapixels. On other hand, the iQOO 8 Pro packs 50 megapixel’s main camera with a micro-cloud platform + 48 megapixel’s (wide angle) + 16 megapixel’s (portrait), and the front is 16 megapixel’s lens.
In terms of display, iQOO 8 packs a 6.56-inches AMOLED display with 92.76% screen-to-body ratio, 2376 × 1080p resolution, supports 10bit colors, and 120Hz refresh rate. Compared to iQOO 8, iQOO 8 Pro display has a big upgrade, debuting Samsung E5 Luminous Material AMOLED, 6.78 inches in size, ratio: 92.22% screen-to-body ratio, 3200 × 1440p resolution, 10bit color, and 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of the operating system, both iQOO 8 and 8 Pro Pre-installed with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11. Both support NFC for multifunction like Vivo Pay, bus card, door card, NFC electronic ID card, etc. For the device unlocking, iQOO 8 uses a regular under-screen fingerprint scanner, while the iQOO 8 Pro brings a more advanced ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. Additionally, iQOO 8 Pro also has an independent Hi-fi audio chip CS43131.
The ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint is through the sensor under the screen to send out ultrasonic waves, penetrate the OLED screen and glass panel, after being reflected by the finger skin to form an image, it is the use of fingerprint surface skin and air between the different densities to build a 3D image, and with the information already present on the terminal for comparison, and the purpose of fingerprint recognition. It allows users to easily achieve extremely fast unlocking operations whether on rainy days, wet fingers, or dirty fingers.
Core configuration, iQOO 8 standard version will have two editions one with Snapdragon 888 and the other with Snapdragon 888 Plus, while the 8 Pro will have Snapdragon 888 Plus version only. In terms of memory, iQOO 8 seems to be available only one combination of 12GB + 256GB, while the iQOO 8 Pro will have 8GB/12GB + 256GB/512GB options. Both come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Charging and battery, the iQOO 8 standard version packs a 4350mAh battery and 120W flash charging solution. While the iQOO 8 Pro packs a 4500mAh battery, supports 120W wired fast charging + 50W wireless charging + 10W wireless reverse charging.
