OPPO Next Generation Under-screen Camera Technology
One of the most important technologies in the second half of the year on the phone is undoubtedly the under-screen lens, ZTE’s Axon30 has knotted the first to be released and listed for sale, the machine in the under-screen lens position on the screen refresh rate and resolution are doing well, can not see the difference already, so other big manufacturers under-screen new machine will be released?
Today, OPPO China President Liu Bo in his microblogging a voting choice, sent a post saying, “R&D students showed me new technology and wanted to ask everyone. For everyone, OPPO next-generation under-screen camera technology, what do you value more?” This shows that OPPO’s under-screen lens technology should also have been perfected, so executives are doing market research to see if users care more about a full screen or better selfie portraits.
Under-screen camera technology is the perfect solution to make the front camera completely invisible and not reduce the selfie effect, which is the direction from which manufacturers are working. Previously OPPO had shown the under-screen camera technology at MWC in Shanghai in 2019, to end the hole-digging screen this form.
At that time, OPPO under-screen camera technology overcame three major problems, one is that OPPO customized the camera module as a way to capture more light. Secondly, OPPO customized the “transparent material” with a higher light transmission rate in the under-screen camera area and redesigned the pixel structure of the area to optimize the light transmission rate of the screen, so that light can pass through the screen more fully. The third is OPPO’s targeted special adjustment of the white balance algorithm, which can adapt to different light sources and color calibration of the picture, to achieve a more realistic photo effect.
After two years of events, I believe that OPPO under-screen camera technology has gone through many iterations internally, and this technology is expected to have matured for commercial use, and mass production commercial use should not be far away.
