In today’s evening, Vivo held a Vivo S10 Series of new machine launch, officially brought Vivo S10 and S10 Pro two products. Vivo S10 series are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, equipped with the photochromic back cover, front dual camera. Both models will go on sale on July 23 in China and prices are as below:

The S10 series is available in four back cover colors, including the “photochromic” version, which will change from an icy blue with an orange glow to a pure Klein Blue in just 3 seconds under sunlight; after leaving the sunlight, it will gradually change to its original color again. The other three colors are yellow, black, and white.


The Vivo S10 series is the brand’s thinnest 5G phone, at 7.29mm thin and 173 gram light, and features a high-strength straight-edge aircraft aluminum center frame for strength and heat dissipation.
In terms of performance, the phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 processor built using TSMC’s 6nm process, with four 2.6GHz A78 large cores + four 2.0GHz A55 small cores. At the same time, the processor’s Mali G77 GPU performance has been significantly improved compared to the previous generation. The phones are equipped with UFS 3.1 high-speed flash memory chips and LPDDR4X memory chips.
It is also equipped with a luxurious heat dissipation family bucket: thermal gel, large size VC even a thermal plate, graphite heat dissipation film, etc., all to prevent the chip from fluctuating game frame rates due to overheating and downscaling.
The S10 series phones support “memory fusion technology”, which provides an additional 4GB of memory space on top of the original memory, making the background multi-application operation experience significantly improved, supporting up to 27 applications switching. With this feature on, the Vivo S10 can get 12GB of memory and the Vivo S10 Pro can get up to 16GB.
In addition, the Vivo S10 series also supports the application second open 2.0 technology, through the application freeze + UI preload two technologies, applications in the background will be quickly frozen, not power consumption and do not disturb, when needed will be intelligent and timely preload, restore the interface. And Vivo S10 series join the new game pre-update function, which can intelligently update game resources under certain conditions.
The Vivo S10 series is equipped with a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with 2400×1080 resolution, 98% NTSC color coverage, HDR10+ support, and a screen refresh rate of up to 90Hz.
In terms of imaging, the Vivo S10 series focuses on the “thin and light selfie flagship” and continues the design of the “extreme night micro slit fill light”. The two front cameras are a 44-megapixel ultra-clear main camera with a large f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.28 aperture.
The standard Vivo S10 has a 64MP rear camera with f/1.89 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + a 2MP macro lens. The Vivo S10 Pro has a 108MP rear camera with f/1.88 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens + a 2MP macro lens.
Both phones support video stabilization on the front/rear main camera and wide-angle lens, but no optical stabilization. In addition, the rear camera supports 10x digital zoom. In terms of video, the S10 series supports 4K video capture for both front and rear main cameras, and up to 1080P for slow-mo.
In terms of camera features, the Vivo S10 series models all support slow-mo, AR shot, short video, double exposure, dual-view video, and motion capture. Vivo says it worked with imaging experts, artists, photographers, and beauty artists during the phone’s development process to bring a natural beauty effect to the portrait mode, achieving near-foundation-level coverage, natural light makeup, while ensuring a bright naturally. The front camera’s ultra-clear night portrait algorithm also supports multi-person photos.
