Honor Magic 3 Coming in Third Quarter with Snapdragon 888 (Pro)
At the Honor 50 series launch, Honor terminal company CEO Zhao Ming announced Honor 50 series debut Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G mobile platform. Zhao Ming emphasized that with the same hardware platform, Honor can give consumers a different experience, excellent performance in 5G connectivity, imaging, and AI.
Zhao Ming said that the future Honor cell phone will provide Magic series, digital series, X series, and Play series four main lines. Among them, the Magic series represents the “ultimate technology” and is positioned as a flagship.
The digital series is mid-range, while the X series and Play series are positioned at the entry-level for the general public. In addition, he also said that the future Play series phones will specifically target the online market.
It is worth noting that Zhao Ming also dramatized the Honor Magic 3 at the launch event, saying that “users who want a fully-optimized Snapdragon 888 experience can look forward to the Honor Magic 3”, which means that the Honor Magic 3 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s most powerful flagship processor.
Zhao Ming said in an interview that we can do better than the competition, and the most important product to undertake the high-end market is the future Honor Magic 3. Previously reported that Magic 3 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 Pro.
Zhao Ming revealed that Honor will release Magic 3 in the third quarter of this year. He also said, “hardware determines the lower limit of the cell phone experience, more important is the ability to master the hardware, I have confidence in the Magic series.”
