Two years after the release of the previous generation, Sony’s next-generation noise-canceling bean WF-1000XM4 is finally coming in early June, the actual picture has been exposed. Recently, Roland Quandt has revealed HD renders of the Sony WF-1000XM4 on Twitter in two colorways, the classic black and brown.

If you take a closer look at the white model, the surface should be skin-like coating, and the interior has a gold dotted texture, probably related to some kind of process or natural material. Back to the basic features, WF-1000XM4 can be said to be completely different from WF-1000XM3, XM4 looks more compact, rounded, and there are small golden columns on the top, presumably buttons or knobs?

One of the more critical upgrades of this generation is that the charging organizer supports wireless charging, while the ability to quickly charge the headphones has also been improved, charging 10 minutes to listen to music for 120 minutes, 30 minutes more than the XM3. Headphones themselves can provide up to 6 hours of playback, and with a charging case, it can add 18 hours of additional playback.

Previously we learned that WF-1000XM4 upgrade support for Bluetooth 5.2 and built-in MediaTek MT2822S chip, CPU speed, DSP performance is better, and integrated hardware-level noise reduction technology will be resulting in better. In other aspects, the headphones are expected to have Hi-Res certification and LDAC support.
