M1 Powered Apple iPad Pro 2021 Performance
Not long ago, Apple launched a new iPad Pro 2021 series at the spring launch event, the device not only carries a new technology screen but also equipped with Apple’s M1 chip previously applied in the PC side, bringing an unprecedented performance boost.
This morning, the well-known blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the new iPad Pro 2021 performance score data from the Geekbench database, which shows that the device got a single-core 1727, multi-core 7270 in Geekbench 5. The overall performance is completely at the top of the pyramid of the tablet product line, completely crushing the Android camp’s tablet.
At the same time, the blogger also put out the run scores of Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 888 as a comparison, where it can be seen that the run scores of these two are single-core 1009 multi-core 3614 and single-core 1106 multi-core 3534 respectively, while the new iPad Pro reaches almost twice their performance with the combination of 16GB RAM + Apple M1 chip.
Notably, the third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro with the A12X chip had a higher average multi-core score of 4,809, likely due to statistical differences, but the M1 iPad Pro was still 51 percent faster than it was, which is consistent with Apple’s promotion that the M1 iPad Pro is 50 percent faster than its predecessor.
M1 iPad Pro performs almost identically to the M1 Mac released last fall. the M1 MacBook Air’s average single-core and multi-core scores were 1,701 and 7,378 respectively, meaning the M1 iPad Pro are faster than the Intel Core i9 processor-equipped 16-inch MacBook Pro with Intel Core i9 processors, which has average single-core and multi-core scores of 1,091 and 6,845, respectively.
However, such a powerful performance also makes its price reached the top level, the lowest version also exceeded the price of 71,900 INR (11-inch), and want to fully experience the power of the mini-LED screen and M1 combination, it is at least to spend nearly 99,900 INR to buy the 12.9-inch version.
