Tasting HarmonyOS supported models
Huawei HarmonyOS official website shows that the second round of public testing of the HarmonyOS system opened, adding seven models: Huawei nova 6, nova 6 5G, nova 7 5G, nova 7 Pro 5G, nova 8, nova 8 Pro, MatePad 10.8 inch, etc. Users of the above models can apply until 11:59:59 on May 17, and places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
HarmonyoS 2.0 Developer Beta enhances the following features.
- 16000+ API (support developing mobile / PAD, large screen, wearable, car apps)
- Distributed application framework
- Distributed UI controls
- Service Cards
- DevEco Studio 2.1 Beta4
In addition, starting from May 9, Huawei will provide two developer Beta tasting methods for developers:
- Use the cloud emulator in HUAWEI DevEco Studio, and download DevEco Studio 2.1 Beta4 from the official website of HarmonyOS to get it. (App developers who are not on the Huawei application market, it is recommended to use this way first).
- Use the exclusive OTA to upgrade the real machine for testing, click the “I want to sign up” button on the page to apply, after the application is approved, you will receive the official Huawei public test invitation email (or SMS), according to the email (or SMS) content guidelines, you can get the OTA push.
It is worth mentioning that the Preferred App is already on the Huawei App Market for developers. Huawei previously the first round of public testing has begun nearly six months, a large number of users have now received the developer beta system.
