Xiaomi MIUI Developers are Working On Memory Fusion Expansion Technology
Vivo previously introduced a new technology when launching OriginOS, called memory fusion. Officially, the new machine can call 3GB from the idle memory into virtual memory, to achieve the effect of 12GB + 3GB into 15G memory.
Other manufacturers have since introduced similar technology, such as OPPO’s RAM + memory expansion technology. The Weibo blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that as Xiaomi’s older models become more and more unresponsive to the times, Xiaomi MIUI developers are working on memory fusion expansion technology that will help users of older models with small memory improve their daily experience.
It is worth mentioning that the Android core can expand virtual memory but does not provide it by default, for example, there are some tools and apps on the market that can help users expand ROM Flash to RAM for use, but there has not been much improvement due to read and write speed and other issues, so the above-mentioned manufacturers’ content fusion technology is certainly not just a simple use of virtual memory to expand memory. So you guys don’t simply think that this technology “works if you have hands”.
