The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be released online at 19:30 on April 27. It is known that the phone will be equipped with pop-up shoulder keys and X-axis linear motor. The official preview poster was released recently, stating that the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition supports “Super-Resolution Touch” technology, which is optimized for FPS and MOBA games, improving control accuracy by 6 times and making it easier to aim.

The picture shows that the phone has a full screen with a central cutout. Officially, the phone will feature an OLED flexible straight screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a color gamut covering DCI-P3, and support for 1.07 billion color display, HDR10+, and 8192 levels of brightness adjustment.

Xiaomi also said that the phone’s three-finger touch sampling rate can reach 480Hz, playing the “Original God” operation more smoothly. Besides, this game also supports shoulder key operation.

Officially, the gaming phone has an independent gaming antenna set and a new set of gaming exclusive WiFi antennas to ensure the stability of the game. Besides, there are also mobile network antennas, two regular WiFi antennas, navigation antennas, and so on.

The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition has a total of 12 antennas, ensuring that the traditional vertical antennas on both sides remain unchanged, and relocating the mobile network and WiFi to the waist space, ensuring that both horizontal and vertical grips are not blocked and that the hardware level guarantees stable signal reception and emitting.

The rendered structure of the phone shows that the phone has dual upper and lower stereo speakers, in addition to an X-axis linear motor. The SIM card slot is located at the bottom of the phone, and there is no 3.5mm headphone port.

The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chip, with a metal frame and support for side fingerprint recognition. In terms of heat dissipation, the phone is equipped with VC liquid cooling, as well as a 11540mm² large-area graphene heat sink, and for the first time, a new material from the space shuttle.
