Xu Zhijun stressed that Huawei’s position in the automotive field is an incremental component supplier in the field of intelligent networked vehicles.
Recently Weibo blogger exposed Huawei self-driving video in his post stating, “this is allegedly a driverless demonstration of the Extreme Fox Alpha S equipped with Huawei’s intelligent driving system. This strategy has not changed so far, Huawei will choose partners to empower car companies. Huawei has now worked with three partners, will launch three brands of intelligent cars. But the names of the two brands have not yet been determined.
Huawei’s jointly launched smart car products will carry the Huawei inside logo, but not all models will use it, but only cars that use Huawei’s autonomous driving solution.
