Microsoft Surface New Patent for Protective Flip Cover
Microsoft Surface tablet PC has the optional removable keyboard protective cover, can be flipped to the rear as support. According to the mspoweruser report, Microsoft Surface new patent for the protective cover was recently published. From the speculation of patent, it can improve the stability of this model.
The patent is for a large number of magnets on the cover as well as on the tablet body, 105 on the tablet body, and 116 on the cover. This ensures that when the cover is folded back, the connection will not break even if the tablet screen is pressed down hard. Besides, the connection location is also set up with additional bendable parts to provide support to prevent loosening.
Microsoft pointed out in the patent that the magnet at the connection of the Surface keyboard cover that exposed and is also applicable to the Surface Pro. The patent was applied for on February 5, 2020, and was approved on April 1, 2021, so the patent is not complicated, so future Surface products are expected to use.
