The Korean media Thelec exposed some details of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to the report from Thelec, the new phone is expected to carry a 4380mAh battery, a small reduction compared to the 4500mAh battery of the previous generation Z Fold 2. Besides, the lithium battery will be manufactured by Samsung SDI.

Thelec also said that the reason for Samsung’s reduced battery capacity is the change in the size of the display. The new phone’s folding screen size has been reduced from 7.6 inches to 7.5 inches; the secondary screen size remains the same, at 6.2 inches. The Z Fold 3 phone will be more portable than its predecessor.

There is news that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is confirmed to support the S Pen stylus, and the screen is expected to adopt an under-screen camera. The new phone’s UTG ultra-thin glass technology will be upgraded to the third generation, which will bring a higher hardness to accommodate the stylus contact. As for the release time, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 2 phone is expected to be released in July 2021, the phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, the screen will support an adaptive refresh rate.
