Mi Laptop Pro 14 and 15 Price and Specifications
On the evening of March 30, Xiaomi released Mi Laptop Pro 14, and 15 was officially launched at the Xiaomi Spring New Product Launch. Bringing Intel 11-generation Core processor and MX450 single display, Pro 14 equipped with 2.5K 120Hz screen, Pro 15 equipped with 3.5K resolution E4 OLED screen.
The new Mi Laptop Pro 14 and Pro 15 OLED are equipped with a 2.5K and 3.5K ultra-retina full-screen respectively, both with a 16:10 full lamination mirror screen. Each has been precisely color-tuned with exclusive ICC color calibration files and also passed dual-certified hardware-grade anti-blue light, with its own DC dimming and Light Sensor, which can automatically adjust the screen and keyboard brightness.
Among them, the Mi Laptop Pro 15 uses a 15.6-inch OLED Master screen features a new generation of E4 self-emitting material, a resolution of up to 261 PPI, 100% DPI-P3 cinema-grade ultra-wide color gamut, 1.07 billion dazzling color displays, Delta E ≈ 1 professional-grade display colorimetry, peak brightness of up to 600 nits, and a contrast ratio of up to 1,000,000:1, 1ms gaming-grade display rate, and a stunning Blackfield experience close to 0 nits due to OLED characteristics.
The Mi Laptop Pro 14 features a 120Hz fluid screen that offers three frame rates of 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz to switch at will, providing up to 216PPI ultra-sharp display, 300 nits screen brightness, and 100% sRGB high color gamut with Delta E≈1.5.
In terms of core configuration, the entire Mi Laptop Pro is equipped with the new Intel 11 generation Core High-Performance Mobile H35 processor, available in i7-11370H and i5-11300H, with Nvidia GeForce MX450 2GB discrete graphics card or Intel Iris Xe core graphics card. The highest equipped with intel 11 Core i7-11370H processor, 10nm process 4 cores and 8 threads, RWD up to 4.8GHz, with 35W high-performance release. It is also equipped with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and 512GB PCIe SSD across the board.
Besides, all Mi Laptop Pro products support PCle 4.0 protocol, which allows the GPU to connect directly to the CPU via PCle 4.0, doubling the data transfer experience compared to PCle 3.0. The new hurricane cooling system combined with the quiet, balanced, and extreme speed three performance-wise modes, to meet the various needs of audio and video, office, gaming, and professional software. In terms of battery life, the Mi Laptop Pro 14 and 15 are equipped with a large capacity battery of 56 and 66-watt hours respectively, both support 100W fast charging, 37/35 minutes to charge up to 50% of the battery.
In terms of appearance, the Mi Laptop Pro 14 and 15, both come in Moonstone Gray and Crescent Silver colorways. The case is built with mobile-grade craftsmanship, combining CNC one-piece precision engraving process, 6-series aerospace aluminum alloy, and 170-gauge precision ceramic sandblasting, the whole machine is as thin as about 15.6/15.9mm and weighs about 1.5/1.8kg, with a delicate and lightweight feel.
In terms of hardware features and interfaces, the new Mi Laptop Pro combines a 2-in-1 fingerprint power button, Thunderbolt 4 interface, full Type-C interface, three-stage backlit keyboard, large touchpad, and HD optical camera, and also comes with an ¥89 USB-C to HDMI multi-function adapter in the package.
As for the software experience, the new Mi Laptop Pro comes pre-installed with Genuine Windows 10 Home Chinese version and genuine Office Home and Student versions. It also supports the PC version of Xiaomi Assistant and the new MIUI+, which provides a more convenient and complete cross-screen collaborative operating experience. The PC version of Xiaomi Assistant can be used to control smart homes, voice open applications, voice turn PPT, voice find files, etc., while MIUI+ provides cell phone mirroring, small and large screen relay, file management, large screen notes, and other functions.
This time, the new Mi Laptop Pro brings six models to choose from, with the Mi Laptop Pro 14 i5 integrated version officially priced at 5,299 yuan, the i5 solo version at 5,999 yuan, and the i7 solo version at 6,999 yuan. The Mi Laptop Pro 15 i5 integrated version is priced at RMB 6,499, the i5 solo version is priced at RMB 6,999, and the i7 solo version is priced at RMB 7,999.
The 14 full-series models will be available for pre-sale at 10 am on April 26, with the first sale in all channels at 10 is on May 1; the 15 full-series models will be available for pre-sale after the launch on March 30, with the first sale in all channels at 10 am on April 2. What’s worth looking forward to is that Mi Laptop Pro is also preparing a version with a new generation of AMD Ryzen Edition 45W Standard H processor, which is expected to be available in May this year.
