Mi Surge C1 ISP Chip
Xiaomi’s first professional imaging chip Surge C1 was officially released. It is just a small step in Xiaomi’s continuous exploration of professional imaging. It represents Xiaomi’s endless technical dreams and pursuits.
This is an image signal processing chip self-developed by Xiaomi. As the “brain” of mobile phone imaging, it is separated from the SOC and independent on the motherboard. Surge C1 has a dual filter configuration, which can realize parallel processing of high and low-frequency signals, and the signal processing efficiency is increased by 100%.
With the self-developed algorithm, the most basic and most important 3A (AF, AWB, AE) performance of the image has been greatly improved. Better autofocus (AF), greatly improving the ability to focus on dark light, small objects, and flat areas; more accurate white balance (AWB), complex mixed ambient light is also fully controlled; and more accurate automatic exposure (AE) Strategy.
