Samsung ISOCELL GN2 and Sony IMX689 Comparison of Size
Xiaomi will hold a press conference on March 23 for upcoming waves of smartphones, tablets, and wearables. Among them, the most important and anticipated product is Xiaomi 11 Ultra – a phone that changes the smartphone category.
According to several reports, Xiaomi 11 Ultra will first debut the largest bottom sensor Samsung ISOCELL GN2. Samsung ISOCELL GN2 compared with the Sony IMX689, the ISOCELL GN2 image sensor is a bit “scary” because of the large size of the sensor. There is a common saying in machine circles that “the bottom is bigger than the bottom”, and the 1/1.12-inch Samsung GN2 is two steps bigger than many flagships, and it is also very big according to different diagonals.

Furthermore, another source states that Xiaomi 11 Pro will pack Samsung’s HMX 1/1.33″ while Xiaomi 11 Ultra will pack ISOCELL GN2 1/1.12″ sensor. Additionally, he also mentioned that Huawei P50 will host Sony IMX707 with a 1/1.28″ sensor size, upgraded version of Sony IMX700, and disapproving the existence of Sony IMX800, all news soon will be officially confirmed or cleared.
