Realme GT Banned On AnTuTu for Cheating
Four weeks ago, before the Realme GT launch, Realme officially announced the Realme GT AnTuTu Benchmark score, the official score is 770,221, and there is no unconnected prompt. But according to AnTuTu Benchmark official background data, AnTuTu found that the model number “RMX2202” only has a score of 688602, which is a big difference from the official score.

In response to this problem, AnTuTu also contacted the Realme side, the other side of the relevant people said (680,000 points) may be the early development of engineering machines, previously ran several times more than 700,000, but did not give a further statement.

For the time being, we are not sure why the results announced by Realme have not been reported, and AnTuTu Benchmark’s engineers conducted a comprehensive investigation after the Realme GT is listed, AnTuTu promised to test its score to verify the results, the specific test results ranking results.
Due to no response from Realme, as promised to purchase this model for testing after the Realme GT is listed. Today’s AnTuTu Benchmark removal note is made after they have purchased and tested the mass-production model.

AnTuTu mentioned the Realme GT was purchased on March 10, the day of its debut, at Huan Tai Mall, with a storage configuration of 12+256GB. Through several tests, this Realme GT in the AnTuTu V8 version is about 750,000 points, in the current sale of models equipped with the Snapdragon 888 platform, has reached a very good level. However, according to AnTuTu Benchmark’s data analysis during the testing process, this is not a reflection of the real strength, but through cheating and other means.
Through AnTuTu Benchmark’s verification, Realme GT in the CPU multi-threaded test there is a situation of thread delay, through the system intercept thread scheme, the multi-threaded test will be scheduled to run on the large core as much as a possible part of the thread, resulting in higher test results.

This practice has deviated from the original purpose of the AnTuTu Benchmark performance test. The multi-thread test examines the performance of multiple cores of the processor with multiple concurrent threads and is not intended to examine the performance of large cores when running the test continuously.
Besides, in the JPG decoding project of the UX test, AnTuTu found that the decoded images of the AnTuTu Benchmark’s performance test were modified in the Realme GT score, and there were a lot of mosaics. Using the mosaic color block to replace the original picture details can significantly reduce the picture quality, and thus the decoding speed will be faster, which is why there is a higher score. But this defeats the purpose of the picture decoding test.

To sum up, AnTuTu has decided to downgrade the score of Realme GT for three months. If realme can modify the above problems in the future, it will be re-calculated into the relevant list after three months, and if it refuses to modify it, it will be permanently downgraded. Furthermore, in the upcoming V9 version, AnTuTu Benchmark will further optimize the anti-cheating program, for example, cheating situations will trigger some penalties such as deduction of points.
In response, instead of solving or discussing problems, Xu Qi Chase vice president of realme said, “A quick note. Our run scores are the real data run under the current version. Realme China market all subsequent models, will not be officially announced XXX run scores, let the product speak for itself.”
