OPPO Find X3’s Impossible Surface Making

OPPO Find X3 series will be released on March 11. The new machine uses a perforated screen in the upper left corner and a streamlined transition between its rear matrix quad-camera module and the back shell of the body, which is called the “Impossible Surface” and described as futuristic.

In the back cover to create a large curved deformation of the unibody glass cover, the process difficulty can be imagined. This morning, OPPO officially released the latest promotional video, revealing the appearance of the Find X3 process.

OPPO Find X3 process goes through 2000+ control points precision adjustment of the back cover curve, the use of art-grade hot forging process to make the glass hot bending, one-piece molding, and then use OC0 curved glass coating process to achieve a warm feel of glazed mirror black.

Through a very complex process, the OPPO Find X3 turns the impossible curved surface into reality, which is very identifiable in the current design of cell phones with little difference in appearance. OPPO achieved the “impossible curved surface” on the Find X3 through a very complex process, greatly reducing the abruptness of the camera part, not only to bring a very recognizable design but also to have a different feel experience. In addition to the curved back design, the Find X3 will also be equipped with a curved display on the front.

According to the news, Find X3 will continue the previous generation of dual-curved perforated screen solution, the front camera opening is located in the upper left corner of the screen, the screen size is expected to be 6.7 inches, the resolution of 3216×1440, which is officially called 3K screen, support 120Hz refresh rate.

At the same time, Find X3 will also debut an Android 10bit full-link color management system, complete support for DCI-P3 color gamut and HEIF format, and will fully support true 10bit pictures and videos in the shooting, encoding, storage, decoding, and display, bringing full-link optimization of shooting and display.

Besides, the full-link color management system will also use D65 as the standard color temperature of the white point to ensure the consistency of different color gamut content display, and through the open color management SDK to solve the problem of different applications color gamut display, to bring a unified display effect, worth looking forward to.

Furthermore, OPPO also join forces with the Oscar winner of the best soundtrack Hans Zimmer to customize a special surprise, expected to be a cell phone ringtone.
