ZTE Demonstrating Functions of under-screen 3D structured light technology in Video
A three-day 2021 MWC International Mobile Communications Exhibition, recently held in Shanghai New International Expo Center. At the exhibition, ZTE world premiere under-screen 3D structured light technology, the first in the world to achieve true full-screen form, true 3D security, and human-machine interaction, more wonderful selfie experience.
At present, 3D structured light technology has been applied to the biometric security identification of some full-screen phones. But because the 3D structured light program needs to reserve some space at the top of the screen to accommodate the relevant induction components, resulting in a less beautiful “bangs”, also known as the “notch screen” for example Apple’s iPhone.
The 3D structured light technology under the screen released by ZTE will make the phone say goodbye to the notch display. Besides, the official ZTE has previously introduced under-screen 3D structured light with 3D face recognition and live detection function, more secure than the ordinary 2D scheme, reaching the payment level security.
Through the video, it can be seen that when the face information is recorded, the official prosthesis through the face prosthesis unlocks test for each of the three phones. After the official real-world test, only the phone with ZTE’s under-screen 3D structured light technology prevented the prosthesis from cracking.
It is understood that ZTE’s under-screen 3D structured light technology will also use infrared light to obtain 2D information about the face after acquiring depth information about the face through laser dot matrix, and combine it with 3D reconstruction algorithms to generate 3D modeling maps of the face.
Not only that, ZTE Mobile’s under-screen technology solution – the second generation of mass production ready under-screen camera technology also met with everyone at the exhibition.
