Redmi K40 ID Photos Exposed along with Mi 10 Snapdragon 870 Edition
The release date for Redmi’s new flagship K40 series this year was officially announced yesterday, and it will be released on the 25th of this month, when the new Snapdragon 888, priced at RMB 2,999, is expected to remain Redmi’s breakout product.
One of the biggest features of this new machine is that it comes with a straight screen that is probably the most expensive in the industry. The Redmi K40 series will use the world’s smallest aperture hole screen design, and the screen will use Samsung’s latest E4 material, the same technology as the Xiaomi 11, plus the price of only RMB 2999.
Today, the Redmi K40 ID and Mi 10 special edition with Snapdragon 870 ID photos published on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology network certification website revealing the appearance of both.

Digital Chat Station claims that the Redmi K40 series will include two models, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro, all with FHD+ displays, made of OLED and supporting 120Hz refresh rate.
As the picture shows, the new version of Xiaomi 10 overall looks like Xiaomi 10 Ultra, processor upgraded to Snapdragon 870. Snapdragon 870 mobile platform based on 7nm process, the CPU contains an A77 (3.19GHz) super core, three A77 (2.42GHz) large core and four A55 (1.8GHz) small core. Other aspects are the same as Snapdragon 865 Plus, and the 5G baseband is also X55 5G.
This chip can be seen as an upgrade to the Snapdragon 865 Plus, which is equivalent to the next flagship mobile platform under the Snapdragon 888. It bridges the gap between Qualcomm’s mid-range and high-end chips and flagship chips and is a product launched by Qualcomm in response to the increasingly changing chip market.
