OnePlus 9 Pro Hands-on Shots
According to the official propaganda, OnePlus will release OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be officially unveiled around March. Yet, there is still more than a month for launch, the news about the device appearing more frequently. This time OnePlus 9 Pro hands-on shots appeared in a video exposing OnePlus’s collaboration with the Hasselblad camera brand.
Recently, a Youtuber Dave2D exposed a real hands-on image of the OnePlus 9 Pro, showing the machine’s back appearance design. The ID design has changed drastically with the matrix four-camera scheme dual main camera support. The back of the OnePlus 9 Pro is designed in a completely different way than before, eliminating the centered camera design that has been used for years and replacing it with a matrix multi-camera solution in the upper left corner, which is equipped with four cameras and flash and laser focus modules.
It is worth mentioning that the pictures show two cameras placed side by side in the camera module of the OnePlus 9 Pro, and the size is exactly the same, compared to the two cameras below is much larger, speculation that it may use the design of the dual main camera, imaging effect is expected to be significantly improved.
OnePlus 9 Pro dual main camera will use a 48 megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor, which not only has a 1/1.4″ large bottom support but also supports 12bit ultra-precise image capture, in 12MP mode can also be straight out of the 12bit RAW file. In addition to hardware upgrades, the OnePlus 9 Pro’s imaging system will also receive a new software algorithm for better photography and Snapdragon 888’s ISP will be beneficial. OnePlus new camera app will support shift, starburst, super delay, moon mode, peak focus, and other functions, currently, no OnePlus device supports mentioned features due to hardware insufficiency.

Earlier, Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus, also revealed on Weibo that he would focus on the imaging system this year, replying to netizens that “we will invest huge resources in the camera this year and strive to be the world’s first in imaging features.”
Talking about Hasselblad, the brand is a very high-end imaging company and so far seems to have only launched the True-Zoom available for the Motorola Moto Z, but the module is clearly not to be seen as a smartphone lens.
