Vivo X60 Pro+ Detailed Evolution: Dual main Camera with Zeiss Imaging, SD888

Vivo X60 Pro+ Detailed Evolution

On the evening of January 21, Vivo officially held an online conference and officially released its new machine Vivo X60 Pro+, which is the flagship product of the Vivo X60 family that brings powerful Snapdragon 888 with the powerful imaging system. Before we talk about Vivo X60 Pro+ detailed evolution, first look at this beautiful device:

Vivo X60 Pro+ is one of the few smartphones in the world to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 uses a 5nm process with a Cortex-X1 super core and its Adreno 660 architecture GPU with 35% faster graphics rendering and 20% better energy efficiency. Making the X60 Pro+ a breakthrough in performance, gaming, and photography with Spectra 580 ISP.

Vivo X60 Pro+ uses enhanced LPDDR5 6400 Mbps and enhanced UFS 3.1 (14%+ performance), combining into a performance IRON TRIANGLE to give you a smoother 5G network experience, while also reducing the “slow lag” problem caused by storage fragmentation.

It packs a 6.56-inch 2376×1080 resolution Samsung AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate screen. With a professional color accuracy level, the Vivo X60 Pro+ screen uses piece-by-piece tuning to make each piece reach a professional color accuracy level. When the average color deviation of the screen is <5, the color error is imperceptible, while the measured average ΔE of Vivo X60 Pro+ is ≈0.506, which is a real breakthrough in the professional color accuracy of the screen.

Vivo X60 Pro+ Front

In terms of design, Vivo X60 Pro+ continues the design style of X60 Pro, with a centered perforated dual-curved screen design on the front, supporting fingerprint recognition, and a rectangular quad-camera module on the back. Vivo X60 Pro+ is available in two color schemes: deep sea blue and classic orange. Phantom Blue is as deep and wide as the ocean, giving you courage and strength. The classic orange is as bright as the sun and still shines through time and space.

The back cover of Vivo X60 Pro+ is made of high-grade vegan leather, which not only has a high texture, no deformation, and even coloring but also gives users a soft and warm feel. Vivo X60 Pro+ is designed with two layers of steps, with different materials of glass and metal, dissolving the sense of thickness with a sense of hierarchy, the aspect ratio and the overall ratio of the phone is nearly the same, giving you a comfortable visual experience.

Camera, Vivo X60 Pro+ features dual main cameras, 50MP, 1/1.3” GN1 super-sensitive main camera with OIS optical stabilization and f/1.57 super aperture, bringing you clearer and brighter photos; 48MP, 114° ultra-wide-angle micro cloud platform main camera, without algorithm correction, you can take a lossless super large field of view. Coupled with 32-megapixel portrait lens + 5-megapixel periscope telephoto (5x optical, 60x Digital Zoom) quad camera.

Vivo X60 Pro+ Camera Modules details:

  • 50MP main camera: S5KGN1, F1.57, OIS
  • 48MP super wide-angle: IMX598, F2.2, micro cloud stage
  • 32MP portrait: S5KGD1, F2.08, 2X, 50mm focal length
  • 8MP periscopic telephoto: OV08A10, F3.4, 5X, OIS
  • 32MP Front: S5KGD1, F2.45

Compared to the X50 Pro+, the main aperture is larger, and the super wide-angle is directly stacked with micro cloud stage, both of which are perceived as very strong enhancements. 2X portrait remains the same, but the periscopic telephoto shrinks to 8Mp, a level with the X60 Pro, which was 13Mp in the previous generation.

The X60 Pro+ uses a composite multi-layer coating and nano-crystal structure coating for the main camera to meet the stringent standards of Zeiss T* coating, with the front and back of each lens covered by the coating, of which the nano-crystal structure coating is the first application in cell phones. All this is just to give you more pure and clear shooting images, a technology that greatly improves lens transmission, reduces glare, and significantly improves image quality.

Vivo X60 Pro+ Black Light Night Vision 2.0 adopts self-researched ultra-high precision segmented dark light noise reduction model to achieve brightness zoning noise processing up to 0.01lux precision, and when combined with laser focusing device to finally present brighter, clearer details and richer color night scene photos; the dense light flow generated by multi-scale MEMC algorithm of night scene video can accurately separate the foreground and background when in motion, while combining with the multi-scene detection optimization algorithm to make the night colors that are not easy to capture, become clearer.

The ultra-wide-angle module of Vivo X60 Pro+ is equipped with a large size light sensor and micro cloud platform, which improves the hardware light intake by 104% compared to the previous generation. Also with the support of the ultra-wide-angle night scene algorithm, the single-frame exposure time is increased by up to 400%, and ISO is increased by up to 264%. Vivo X60 Pro+’s time slow door function, covering car track, light painting, fireworks, waterfall, and star track scenes.

Vivo X60 Pro+ upgraded with new RAW domain HDR, richer input information, and more natural shading. The new RAW domain HDR is richer in input information and more natural in tone. It inherits Vivo’s professional image knowledge of HDR and gives the video the same effect of “clear even against the light”.

Vivo and Zeiss set up a joint R&D team to make the imaging system of Vivo X60 Pro+ meet the strict optical standards of Zeiss, meanwhile, Vivo X60 pro+ will be displayed in Zeiss Optical Museum in Germany.

In terms of network, X60 Pro+ supports all-networking 5G NSA/SA, supports a 5G+5G dual network, other than Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, etc. Battery capacity 4200mAh, support 55W flash charging. In terms of size, the measurements of the new machine are 158.59×73.35×9.1mm and the weight is 190.6g.

Vivo X60 Pro+ price for 8GB+128GB version is 4998 yuan, 12GB+256GB version priced at 5998 yuan, the night of January 21 began to pre-sale, January 30 officially opened for sale.
