It is reported that the TCL scroll screen size of 6.7 inches, suitable for smartphones, the top of the screen can be extended to 7.8 inches by stretching the form, from the smartphone form into a flat phone form.
It has two electromechanical motors inside the body, and after pressing the button, the remaining screen part hidden inside the body can be pulled out, which can extend the small size screen to the same size as a tablet.
Scroll screen compared to the folding screen brings two benefits is that the thickness of the screen can remain unchanged, and the screen will not appear on the crease, the overall look more practical, and TCL also said that the scroll screen can not only achieve mass production of commercial use, its cost is 20% lower than the competition, and equipped with a sliding mechanism of the curling slide life of up to 100,000 times.
Compared to the flexible folding phone with a maximum thickness of more than 14mm after folding, it is worth noting that the TCL scroll screen in the screen before and after the expansion of the entire thickness remains unchanged, controlled within 10mm, more compact and thin.
In terms of life, TCL said that the reinforced design of the flexible screen through the flexible screen curl sliding radius can be as small as R3mm, carrying a sliding mechanism of the curl sliding life of 100,000 times.
