HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G
As a former brother of Android, HTC has disappeared from the smartphone market in recent years, business contraction across the board, the VR business with high hopes also failed to fire down, this year’s performance is still not optimistic.
For 2021, HTC founder, chairman and CEO Wang Xuehong said that global technology has been progressing, whether in VR, AR, AI, 5G and blockchain, I believe it will be the best platform for work and communication in the future. Wang Xuehong said that they will not give up on the cell phone business, and there will be plans for 5G phones in 2021. With the increase in 5G penetration, 5G phones will help the company’s operations, while there will be amazing products coming out in VR.
Last year HTC released only two phones, and its first phone of 2021 may be coming soon, and the pictures of the real machine, suspected to be called HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G, have been exposed online. The model number of the phone is 2AQAG100 and it runs Android 10 out of the box. The front design isn’t anything special, with fairly wide side bezels and a chin, and a front and center perforated screen. Judging by the reflections on the edges of the display, the phone should have an IPS LCD panel.
On the back, you can see that the phone is a mint green color with a carbon fiber-like texture. It has a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor. And since there’s no fingerprint reader on the back and the LCD panel can’t support off-screen fingerprint recognition, it’s probably integrated in the side-mounted power button. This is the first we’ve heard of this phone, and other than what we’ve seen from the photos, there’s no other information about the machine yet.
